Shrenu Parikh gets cold feet when her parents watch her romantic scenes. Guess what she does? The TV actress calls up her Mom and Dad and requests them to not see the episode in question. But, do they comply?

Ishqbaaaz actress Shrenu Parikh is making headlines, courtesy her latest character of Janhvi Mittal in Ek Bhram- Sarvagun Sampanna on Star Plus. Shrenu who is known for her cute bubbly and girl next door image in her previous shows has surprised the audience with her latest avatar where the pretty actress is seen playing a badass bahu. As the actress is being already praised for attempting something new and challenging, we tried to know what's next on her mind.

Talking about this, Shrenu told SpotboyE.com EXCLUSIVELY, " I would love to debut on digital space." So what's stopping her? "But I am not ready for the bold content in digital space". Why? "I won't be comfortable shooting bold stuff. You won't believe me, but whenever I shoot for a romantic scene, I make sure to call my Mom and Dad (who live in Ahmedabad) to tell them that 'please don't watch the episode today'. I am mechanized that way, main nahi kar sakti any over-the-top hot stuff. That the only limitation I have as an actor".


So does your family agree and doesn't watch the show? No, not at all. They still watch."

And then? Pat comes the reply, "At times, they criticze me. . Like my dad says 'beta aisa aisa nahin karna chahiye tha."

What does she reply then? "What can I reply? I feel so awkward and say, 'Dad, please yaar lets not talk about romance(laughs)'." 


Shrenu who started her TV career with Havan in 2011, have been a part of some popular shows like Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir , Dil Boley Oberoi and Ishqbaaaz. She has also did a Gujarati film titled Lamboo Rastoo.
